TIPS Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling in Digital Era
Along with the times and technology, we must have an awareness of our quality so that we do not ‘extinct’. Doing Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling is very important so that we do not get stuck in a comfort zone and continue to do routines. However, most people are still confused about how to do Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling.
Many people say that we should prioritize “smart work” over “hard work”. Good news for all of us, there are four tips that we can do to help us do Skilling, Reskilling, and Upskilling.
1. Keep yourself aware
Every action we take arises from having self-awareness. By having an awareness of who we are and what is going on in the environment around us, especially in the professional world, we will know what to do in the future.
2. Remember and recognize our profession
Without us realizing it, we often become like ‘robots’ who are stuck in a routine. Therefore, we need to remember and recognize whether our profession is in line with our life goals. Most of the time, the obstacles we face can be a trigger for us to, again, remember and recognize the relevance of our profession to our life goals.
3. Understand the gap in our profession
Courage is needed for us to understand the differences or ‘gaps’ between our profession and the current situation. When we understand the gaps in our profession, we will be able to survive every change and development that is happening.
4. Immediately have the ultimate goal of what we do
It is important for us to immediately have a final goal or purpose in our life so that everything we do can be decided as well as possible so that it can support the process of achieving our life goals.
It is important to find the reason for us to wake up tomorrow with excitement.
